Generally, the Hosted Setup is much more comfortable and easier, especially in the software maintenance and the general administration of your machine. This allows you to concentrate on what is important to you: supporting your customers.
The Hosted package is particularly recommended if there is no in-house know-how on the operation of Linux systems, as this is a basic requirement of Zammad.
But note: Changing between selfhosted and hosted (and vice versa) is possible at any time without problems!
