In addition, at #Zammad we follow an opensource sales strategy in which organic growth is achieved exclusively through "inbound leads" from the Zammad community. Unlike our competitors, we don't even need cookies on our website for this. This means that you can spend time on our website without being contacted by a salesperson and tempted to make a purchase decision. The quotation is prepared after contacting us within a Zammad ticket and we generally only offer you the services that you have explicitly requested.
However, these basic sales principles interact with the customer's process-related expectations. Inquiries with a catalog of requirements generally do not contain any explicit services that can be offered. For this reason, we only process such generic requests in exceptional cases, i.e. when one or more of our available services is explicitly requested (we do not sell software licenses, for example, so we cannot participate in such requests).
We offer free meetings with our project consultants in Zammad Sales ("Sales Consulting") for orientation discussions and individual demo presentations in order to be able to coordinate the offer and order process in individual cases and to be able to make conceptual delimitations. In these formats, you may be able to persuade us to process your non-specific and irrelevant request for quotation. You will always receive "needs-based" offers from us, which are either based on experience from other projects or have been explicitly requested by the customer.
